What part of what organ of the human body makes us most human?

This is the most complicated organ in the human body. Some consider it the most complicated thing known. But it has one section which makes us unique, different from other living things.

  1. brain
  2. The parts of our brain that allow us to reason differentiate us from other mammals, who basically have the same set of organs.
  3. It is the end of the small intestine (the Exit)
  4. heart
  5. the brain
  6. The brain
  7. the brain
  8. the thumb on the hand-some people might say brain but even the mentally handicapped can function over many animals with many activities because of having thumbs, 2nd is the brain giving us the edge on chimps and other primates who have thumbs.
  9. the sex organs!!! b/c only we, human, feel orgasm.....
  10. for few like me it is head (brain),for others like you it is the knee
  11. just genitals
  12. prefrontal cortex
  13. heart & tongue
  14. cortex .... (other animals orgasm ... even some of the females ... read up on bonobos)
  15. all things will work together for good...
  16. cerebral cortex of the brain
  17. The neocortex. Human encephalization is especially pronounced in the neocortex, the most complex portion of the cerebral cortex. Singular among those of all animals, the human brain possesses the largest and most massive neocortex. Humans thus enjoy unique neural capacities despite the fact that much of the human neuroarchitecture resembles that of more primitive species. Basic systems that alert the nervous system to stimuli, sense events in the environment, and monitor and maintain the internal environment of the body (homeostasis) are similar in some ways to those of the most basic vertebrates. Human consciousness involves both the extended capacity of the modern neocortex in particular as well as profoundly developed prototypical structures of the brain stem. But the human brain is unique, in part, because it relies on some million billion synaptic connections, making it an extremely intricate and densely connected neural network.
  18. medulla oblongata BRAIN
  19. Mind. It is a manifestation of functioning brain.
  20. The cerebral cortex is the most recently evolved region of the human brain and it is where all high-order cognitive functioning takes place. This is the center of the brain where our self-image and perspective is created. Only the human brain has evolved to this level; as the human brain evolved, something remarkable happened. The brain, with its great perceptual powers, began to perceive its own existence. This ability is what makes us human.
  21. The ability to oppose our thumbs at least puts us in the primate category, then the lack of hair on the organ of our skin adds to the illusion that we are human and different from the primates. Then we add the parts of our brain and organ systems that are farther developed. All in all it is in our DNA, which is in all of our organs and cells which make us most human.
