How does the skeletal system interact with 5 other human body systems?

- I can give you one real quick. It works with the cardiovascular system by being the source of the marrow that creates new red blood cells.
- the five systems it interacts with - 1. Nervous System - the vertebral column holds the spinal cord, needed for nervous connections throughout the body. 2. Cardiovascular System - Red Bone Marrow produces erythrocytes. 3. Endocrine System - The adrenal glands secrete erythropoietin which stimulates red blood cell production in the red bone marrow. 4. Respiratory System - The hyoid bone prevents collapse of the windpipe, therefore, allowing us to breathe. 5. Muscle System - The skeletal muscles have insertions to the bones for support and movement.
